“No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conduct the affairs of men more than those of the United States.  Every step by which they have advanced to the character of and independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency.”

~ President George Washington. Inaugural address 1789

We as God fearing Americans have forgotten this land was conceived not just in liberty, but in the liberty to live according to the to the conviction of heart based in God’s Word.  We have also allowed ourselves and our nation to drift into unbelief and now we no longer adore the “Invisible Hand” of God that guided us to be a great nation revered around the world.

We need a revival not among the members of our great society, but in the hearts of God’s people to love and adore our dear Saviour who has made the freedoms we hold dear an extension of living a righteous life.  If we as God’s People were to live as the founders of our great nation assumed we would, God would be at the center of our lives, and not the end of our week.  Today the world would still see the guiding hand of our gracious God and the light of His Glorious Gospel would shine into the hearts of men.
